In neo-institutionist economic perspective, the transaction cost and the management cost in the market play an important role to explain the nature and the competitiveness of the firm. The OECD Convention on Combating Bribery is considered as having an significant influence on global competitive system in economic aspect as well as juridical and ethical aspects. A pivotal point is to establish and apply the monitoring and assessment system for the violation activities. The OECD peer review mechanisms are effective for an efficient application of the Convention. The aim of the study is to consider, based on the peer review mechanism, the economic implication and the application measure of the Convention.
