These days, the competitiveness of nations can't be defined in a single way. But many evaluation institutions define it as a high position in the field of economy and industry. The measurement index of competitiveness of nations usually includes some index about the corruption perceptions. There may be a correlation between the competitiveness of nations and the corruption perceptions. The evaluation institutions investigate the degree of corruption perceptions in public institutions. The International Institute for Management Development surveys the bribery and corruptions situations. The World Economic Forum surveys the irregular payments in exports and imports, in public utilities, in tax collection etc.. The Institute for industrial Policy Studies researches the bribery and corruption. As a result, a country in the high level of the competitiveness of nations tends to have a higher corruption perceptions. But a country in the low level of perceptions, it probably has a lower competitiveness.
