Resolving Corruptions of Public Procurement Service through an Electronic Government

The purpose of this paper is to resolve corruptions of public procurement service through an electronic government. It is very efficient to reduce corruption through an electronic government. The basic purposes of electronic government are to establish a transparency and improve an efficiency. We get ready for institutional bases to reduce corruptions through many reform to transform institutional corruption into accidental corruption. But It does not guarantee our success. Because it is necessary for a leader to support continuously with concern. It is affected by a leadership to reduce corruptions. Reform devices are evaluated positively to establish a transparency in Seoul Metropolitan City and Public Procurement Service, But public officials may have a wait-and-see policy in the beginning stage. We will make every effort to establish an electronic government and restructuring system to adapt to electronic government. At the same time we will have an interest in public personnel training system and ethical bases on informatization personnels.
