전자거래 환경의 공급사슬 관리에서 공급업체 개발 역량과 성과에 대한 품질우위 및 배송우위 전략의 영향 연구

The Effect of Quality and Delivery Leadership Strategies on Supplier Development and Performance for e-Commerce Supply Chains

연구목적: 본 논문은 공급업체 개발 역량이 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미치는지와 양자의 관계에 대하여 품질 우위전략 및 배송 우위전략의 적극적 실행이 정(+)의 조절효과를 미치는지를 확인하는 것을 목표로 하였다. 논문구성/논리: 공급업체 개발 역량과 성과 개념의 타당성과 신뢰성을 측정한 후, 양 개념 간의 관련성을 회귀분석으로 검증하였고, 품질 및 배송 우위전략의 조절 효과를 조절적 회귀분석의 방법으로 검증하였다. 결과: 전국 소재 기업들을 대상으로 한 실증연구 결과, 공급업체 개발 역량과 성과 개념의 타당성과 신뢰성이 확보되었으며, 동 개념은 성과에 대하여 긍정적 영향을 미치는 결과를 나타내었다. 양자 간 관계에 대하여, 품질 우위전략은 정(+)의 조절 효과를 나타내었으나, 배송 우위전략은 제한적 조절 효과를 나타내었다. 독창성/가치: 전자거래의 활성화에 따라 전자적 공급사슬의 이행능력의 중요성이 강조되고 있으며, 이를 위해서는 IT를 통한 배송과 품질의 원활한 지원이 필수적이다. 이러한 현실적 중요성에 입각하여 본 연구는 공급업체 개발 역량의 개념을 국내 기업을 대상으로 하여 그 타당성과 신뢰성을 확인하였으며, 품질 우위전략과 배송 우위전략과의 관련성에 대한 탐색적 연구를 시도하였다.

Purpose: The purposes of this study are, in the first step, to define and conceptualize domestic companies' supplier development practice and to examine empirically the causal relationships between supplier development activities and production performance. As the second step of this study, we examined whether there are moderate effects on the relationship of four operations capabilities of quality and delivery Composition/Logic: To fulfill our research questions, validity and reliability analysis for supplier development concept was implemented. Futhermore, to analyse relationships among concepts, we used regression and moderate regression models. Findings: The results of our study are as follows. Firstly, both supplier development practice and production performance are proper as constructs for models for empirical studies. Second, suppler development practice has positive effect on production performance. Third, only cost and quality capabilities shows significant positive moderate effect on relationship between supply chain practice and production performance, implying that those two capabilities have synergy effect on supplier development effort of companies in order to improve performance. Originality/Value: Under the proliferation of e-Commerce, the execution excellence of e-SCM is emphasized, which requires IT enablers for the quality and delivery leadership. In spite of this practical importance, there are only a few existing studies on supplier development like this study in Korea. We tried a exploratory study on relationship between supplier development and operations capabilities.
