국가직무능력표준 기반의 교육과정 개발에 관한 연구

A Study on the Development of National Competency Standards-based Curriculum -Focusing on Cases from the Broadcasting Make-up Major at I University-

This study aims to nurture ‘field-oriented practical cosmetologists’ after developing a National Competency Standards (NCS)-based curriculum to meet the needs and demand of both students and the broadcasting makeup-related industries. For the development of curriculum, makeup, hairstyling and nail care were chosen as core tasks based on the results of the analysis of industry demand and environment. Considering the vision of a college, talent development direction and educational goals were set. Then, the details were prepared after deriving subjects through the verification of a job model at the Subject Matter Expert (SME) Curriculum Development Committee’s Meeting. Lastly, NCS-based curriculum for the major of broadcasting makeup was developed by referring to the training system by the NCS level. It appears that the curriculum developed in this study would develop and manage the field-oriented practical talents needed by industries, improve students’ satisfaction and strengthen student job competitiveness.
