멀티미디어 매체를 활용한 대학 글쓰기 수업

현대사회의 의사소통과 읽기·쓰기 방식은 인쇄 매체에 기반한 읽기·쓰기 교육에서 통합적 디지털 매체로 자연스럽게 변화되고 있다. 이전 세대의 문식성이 문자를 중심으로 한 논리적, 비판적, 이성적, 선형적 사고에 입각했다면, 앞으로 필요한 문식성은 문자 텍스트와 영상 텍스트를 통합하는 통합적 문식성이다. 이에 미래의 학습자에게는 인터넷이라는 새로운 구술적 상황에 대한 이해와 더불어, 문자문화의 합리성에 근거한 통합적 의사소통의 기술에 대한 학습이 필요하다. 무엇보다 ‘통합적 의사소통’에서 빼놓을 수 없는 것은 멀티미디어 텍스트의 해석 능력이다. 멀티미디어 텍스트는 다매체를 융합하고 통섭하는 상상력을 키울 뿐 아니라, 창의적 사고와 비판력의 신장이라는 대학 글쓰기 교육의 목적에 부합한다. 이에 이 논문은 멀티미디어를 활용한 대학 의사소통 교육의 현황을 살펴보고 이를 활용한 수업방안을 사례로 들어 시안을 제안하는 데 목적을 두었다. 대학 의사소통 교육에서 매체 활용의 현황과 사례를 통해 대학 글쓰기 교육에서 멀티미디어 매체 활용의 가능성을 탐색하고 교수 활용 방안을 제안한다.

The communication and reading & writing method in modern society is naturally changing from print media-based reading & writing education to integrated digital media. Namely, literacy of the past generation was based on logical, critical, rational and linear thinking centering on text, whereas literacy needed in the future is integrated literacy integrating character text and image text. Accordingly, future learners need to learn the integrated communication skills based on the rationality of character culture, along with an understanding of a new oral narrative situation, the internet. What cannot be left out in the 'integrated communication' is the ability to interpret multimedia text. Multimedia text not only cultivates the imagination of multimedia convergence and consilience but also corresponds with the objective of university writing education of cultivating creative thinking and critical ability. Accordingly, the purpose of this thesis is to examine the present condition of university communication education using multimedia to propose an according instructional model. Based on the present condition of university communication education and related cases, it aims to explore the possibility of using multimedia in university writing education and propose an instructional plan.
