원형지수 기반 형태 분석을 이용한 이미지 콘텐츠의 감성 분류 연구

The Study of Image Contents' Emotional Classification Using Circularity Based Shape Analysis

영상 콘텐츠는 색상, 질감, 외곽선, 모양 등 다양한 시각적 정보를 포함하고 있다. 이러한 특징 정보들을 사용하여 영상 콘텐츠에 내재된 감성을 분류할 수 있다. 일반적으로 비교적 정보 추출과 구성이 쉬운 색상 정보를 주로 사용하고 있다. 그러나, 사람이 콘텐츠의 감성을 인식하는데 있어서 가장 중요한 정보중의 하나는 모양 특징이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 영상의 부드럽고 날카로룸을 판단할 수 있는 원형지수를 이용하여 감성정보중의 하나인 각성(날카로움)-이완(부드러움)을 결정하도록 하였다

Image contents includes a variety of visual information such as color, texture, edge and shape. Embeded emotion of image contents can be classified using these visual informations. the general image classification is the method using color information that is easy to extract. However, the most important information that human recognize the emotion of image contents is the shape feature. In this paper, one of the human emotional information, arousal-relax can be judged by using circularity that can decide the smoothness and sharpness of the shape
