This study is on the research into teaching-learning to extend the aesthetic faculty, the art nature of creativity. Art is a phenomenon of human nature that expresses aesthetic ideas in creative and intuitive manner. The aesthetic faculty is a human ability to perceive and sense the art. The aesthetic faculty is inherent in humans, and art value is achieved through the manifestation of the aesthetic faculty. Human aesthetic faculty, thus, makes humans have impulse or will for art by stimulating creative action and it results in creation mentality for art. The manifestation of creation mentality can be realized through creation learning. It is possible for humans to have creation learning as their owned aesthetic faculty stimulates creative action and it leads to the manifestation of art creation mentality. The development of aesthetic faculty by creative learning forms the unity of human live and creative cultural value as well. The teaching-leaning method to foster the thinking of aesthetic faculty for the creative learning is the five stages of idea, discovery, digging, manifestation, and development. In the stage of idea, the data to be felt by five senses for the extension of aesthetic faculty should be suggested. In the stage of discovery and digging, information should be suggested, the theme be set up, and fundamental functions be guided. In the stage of manifestation, the atmosphere that allows the learners to express creatively with their leading attitude should be created, by presupposing artistic expression techniques, choosing and better using the materials and tools, and verifying the effect. In the stage of development, the works given by the result of the manifestation of art creation mentality should be evaluated and the intention of the expressions and the use of effective materials or techniques be identified. Fostering the aesthetic faculty based on the five stages of idea, discovery, digging, manifestation, and development will form art value through creation by the manifestation of human creation mentality.
