The purpose of this study was to investigate the integral literature activities using picture books on the teacher's view on the teaching profession and self-esteem of teaching process of early childhood student The participants were 52 early childhood student teachers in Chungcheongnam- do. The integral literature activities using picture books are designed by the resercher and treated for 13 weeks period. The collected data were analyzed by t-test using the SPSS/PC Computer Program. The major results of this study were as follow : First, the integral literature activities using books have positive effectss on their teacher's view on the teaching profession in all of subareas. Second, the integral literature activities using books have positive effectss on their self-esteem in all of sub-areas.
