Analysis on Outside-School-Factors Affecting Prior Learning

본 연구의 목적은 학교 외부에 존재하는 선행학습의 영향 요인을 분석하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 위하여 선행학습이 가장 많이 일어나는 중학생을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 다음과 같은 여덟 가지 특징이 나타났다. 첫째, 가정의 소득 수준은 수학과 영어에, 부의 학력은 수학에 정적인 영향을 주었으며, 모의 연령은 수학에, 모의 학력은 수학과 영어에 부적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 학생의 지적 호기심은 수학과 영어에, 막연한 불안감 인식은 수학에 정적인 영향을 주었으며, 학습 의견 존중의식은 수학에 부적 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 학생 개인의 사교육 홍보 인식은 영어와 수학에 부적인 영향을 주었으나, 학생이 속한 학교 전체의 사교육 홍보 인식은 수학에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 넷째, 학생의 명문학교 진학 인식은 수학에 정적인 영향을 주었으며, 내신 준비 인식은 수학과 영어에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 다섯째, 학부모의 외재적 동기, 경쟁적 동기, 내재적 동기는 수학과 영어에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 여섯째, 학부모 개인의 학벌사회 인식은 수학에, 사교육 홍보 인식은 수학과 영어에 부적인 영향을 주었으나, 학교 전체의 학벌사회 인식은 수학에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 일곱째, 학부모 개인의 명문 상급학교 진학인식은 수학과 영어에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 여덟째, 학생 대상 분석에서는 사교육 성행지역이 선행학습에 영향을 주지 않았으나, 학부모 대상 분석에서는 사교육 성행지역이 선행학습에 정적인 영향을 주었다.

The purpose of this study is to identify the outside-school-factors affecting prior learning. The targets are middle school students since their level of prior learning has been increasing. The results are as follows; First, family income level has shown positive effects on math and English score. Whereas fathers' education level has positive effects on math score, mothers' education level shows negative effects on math and English score. Mothers' age has negative effects on math. Second, students' curiosity level shows positive effects on math and English score, and their vague anxiety generates positive effects on math. Third, while students' perception about individual level promoting private education shows negative effects on English and math score, their perception about school level promoting private education shows positive effects on math score. Forth, Students' perception about entering prestigious school influences math score positively. And, their perception about preparing school records has positive effects on math and English score. Fifth, parents' extrinsic, competitive, and intrinsic motivation has shown positive effects both on math and English score. Sixth, parents' individual perception about society putting emphasis on educational background shows negative effects on math. Their perception about promoting private education also has negative effects both on math and English score. On the other hand, schools' perception about society putting emphasis on educational background shows positive effects on math score. Seventh, parents' perception about the entrance to prestigious school has positive effects on math and English score. Eighth, in the analysis of student targeting data, the zone where prerequisite learning has been prevalent does not show any significant effects on prerequisite learning. On the other hand, in the analysis of parents targeting data, the effects are shown to be positively significant.
