가족중심실천이 장애인가족의 강점기능에 미치는 영향

The Effects of Family-centered Practice on Family Strengths Function

본 연구는 장애인가족을 대상으로 가족중심실천과 가족강점기능 간의 관계에서 장애인의 긍정적 기여의 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경남지역에 거주하고 있는 390명의 장애인가족을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 분석결과 장애인의 가족에 대한 긍정적 기여에 대한 인식은 사회적 관심이 가장 높은 평균을 보였으며, 이에 비해 사회지원망의 확대는 낮은 평균을 보였다. 이는 장애인과 함께 생활하는 가족들이 사회적 관심이 늘어나는 것을 확인할 수 있었으나 사회적 관심의 증가가 구체적으로 사회지원망의 확대로 이어지지는 못하는 것으로 볼 수 있다. 가족중심실천은 장애인의 긍정적 기여에 대한 인식과 가족강점기능에 유의한 영향을 미쳤으며, 장애인의 긍정적 기여는 가족중심실천과 가족강점기능 간에 매개효과가 유의미하게 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 장애인가족의 강점기능을 강화하기 위해, 실천현장뿐만 아니라 장애인가족의 자원을 활용하는 개입전략이 모색되어야 함을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구결과를 기반으로 장애인가족의 강점기능을 강화하기 위한 방안으로 가족중심실천과 장애인의 긍정적 기여가 주는 함의와 지속적인 연구 방안을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to explore the impacts of family-centered practice on the utilization of positive contributions made by disabilities and family strengths function and the mediating effect of positive contributions. Much is known about the associated with parenting a child with disability, but few studies have examined the broader contributions of the child to family life. The data were collected from 390 family and the results were analyzed using SPSS. The results showed that family-centered practice had statistically significant effects on the utilization of positive contributions and family strengths function in the family with disabilities. In addition, there was a statistically siginificant mediating effects of positive contributions made by disabilities between family-centered practice and family strengths function in the family with disabilities. Based on these findings, the implications for family-centered practice and positive contributions made by disabilities improve family strengths function and recommendations for the further studies were presented.
