본 연구는 Wallach & Kogan 창의성 검사의 문항을 추출하여 한국판 Wallach & Kogan 창의성 검사를 개발하고 타당도를 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 그 결과 첫째, 문항 선정을 위하여 Wallach & Kogan 창의성 검사의 국내외 선행연구 고찰과 내용타 도를 걸쳐 12문항을 추출하였으며, 탐색적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 문항 5개의 하위요인으로 구성되는 것이 가장 적합한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국판 Wallach & Kogan 창의성 검사의 타당화를 실시하였다. 타당도를 검증하기 위하여 전국 초등학교 4∼6학년 1,836명을 대상으로 신뢰도, 하위요인별 상관관계, 구인타당도, 교차타당도를 분석하였으며, 초등학교 4∼6학년 265명을 대상으로 공인타당도를 분석하였다. 그 결과 전체 신뢰도는 .89이었으며, 하위요인별 내적합치도가 .50 이상으로 수렴타당도가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 하위요인별로 상관분석을 한 결과 한국판 Wallach & Kogan 창의성 검사의 하위요인들이 서로 밀접한 관계를 갖고 있으며 창의성을 잘 측정하는것으로 나타났다. 구인타당도 검증을 위하여 다양한 요인별로 확인적 요인분석을 실시한 결과 최종 10요인이 가장 적합한 것으로 채택되었으며, 한국판 Wallach & Kogan 창의성 검사의 세 부 문항 및 구성요인은 창의성을 측정할 수 있는 타당한 요인인 것으로 나타났다. 교차타당도검증에서는 성별, 학년별, 지역별 모두 적합한 것으로 나타나 다른 표집에도 일반화가 가능한모형인 것으로 나타났다. 공인타당도 검증에서는 TTCT보다 한국판 Wallach & Kogan 창의성검사가 KEDI 창의인성 검사와 창의적 자기 효능감 검사에서 좀 더 높은 상관을 보였다. 따라 서, 본 연구는 한국 실정에 맞게 한국판 Wallach & Kogan 창의성 검사를 개발하고, 신뢰도와 타당도를 검증함으로써 확산적 사고 검사의 하나의 대안으로 활용될 수 있는 창의성 검사를 개발하였다는 것에 의의가 있다.
The purpose of this study was to develop and to validate of the Korean version Wallach & Kogan Creativity Test. Related to the results, for the selection of item list, 12 items were extracted from the original version of Wallach & Kogan Creativity Test then modified based on thorough study of preceding domestic and foreign researches and examination of its content validity. Its item composition and reliability were shown to be appropriate by conduction of the finalized Korean version Wallach & Kogan Creativity Test. Also, the 5 chosen subscales were the most suitable in exploratory factor analysis result. Second, validity of Korean version Wallach & Kogan creativity test was examined. According to the result, reliability was .89 and subscales inter-correlation was over .50. The results implies that the test has reasonable convergent validity. Furthermore, the results of subscale correlation analysis indicates that subscales are highly relevant and are highly likely to show positive performance on measuring creativity. Confirmatory factor analysis for construct validity examination selected the final 10 factor structures to be most valid. In cross validity test, the test was found out to be valid regardless of gender, grade, and region, thus its adaptation on other samples was feasible. In concurrent validity test, Korean version of Wallach & Kogan Creativity Test showed relatively higher correlation than TTCT on both KEDI Creative Personality test and Creative Self Efficacy Test. respectively, denoting Korean version of Wallach & Kogan Creativity Test to be a valid and reliable instrument.
