The purpose of this study was to investigate factors related to the intentions of pre-service teachers’ employment. A survey was conducted on 245 pre-service teachers. The results are as follows. First, pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy, perceptions on the professionalism and satisfaction with the practicum in child care centers were a little bit higher. But it showed that intentions of pre-service teachers’ employment were very high. Secondly, the higher pre-service teachers’ self-efficacy, perceptions on the professionalism, and satisfaction with the practicum in child care centers were, the stronger intentions of pre-service teachers’ employment were. Thirdly, factors of intentions of pre-service teachers’ employment were shown as self-efficacy and satisfaction with the practicum in child care centers. The result of this research will be used for the basic materials in the process of producing and ensuring many capable pre-service teachers.
