융합형 영재의 핵심 역량 모델 개발 연구

Study on the Development of a Core Competency Model for the Convergent Gifted

21세기 융합형 지식 기반 사회가 추구하는 가치에 따른 영재 교육의 새로운 방향으로서 핵심 역량 중심의 STEAM 교육을 고려해 볼 필요가 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 융합형 영재 교육 실현을 위한 핵심 역량 모델을 개발하고, 그 타당성을 검토하였다. 이를 위하여 기존에 언급된 논문, 도서, 신문 기사, 역량모델 및 사전에 대한 분석을 기반으로 설문 문항을 개발하였고, 개발된 설문 문항으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과로, 융합형 영재의 핵심 역량 모델은 8개의 역량군과 25개의 하위 역량으로 구성되었으며, 8개의 역량군은 ‘의사소통’, ‘팀워크’, ‘문제해결’, ‘정보’, ‘논리분석’, ‘창의성’, ‘자기개발’, ‘책임감 및 윤리의식’으로 구성되었음을 밝혔다.

As the new direction of the gifted education becomes pursuing value for the knowledge-based convergence society of the 21st century, it is necessary to consider the core competencies of STEAM. In this study, the core competency model for the convergent gifted was developed and its validity was examined. In order to reveal this, a survey was conducted after developing a questionnaire through collecting various materials such as journals, books, newspaper articles. As a result, the core competency model of the convergent gifted consists of eight core competency clusters and 25 sub-competencies. The eight core competency clusters include the following: capability of communication, teamwork, problem-solving, information, logic analysis, creativity, self-development, responsibility and ethics.
