소방공무원 직무환경 개선에 관한 연구

A Study on Improvement of Job Environment of Fire Officers

소방공무원의 역할이 급격히 증대되고 있음에도 불구하고 직무환경은 과거에 비해 크게 개선되지 못하였다. 본 연구에서는 소방공무원의 직무환경 문제점을 도출하고 소방공무원의 직무환경 개선을 위한 방안을 제시해 보고자 한다. 이를 위해서 직무환경을 근무여건, 물리적 환경, 조직문화, 인간관계의 네 가지 영역으로 구분하여 평가하였다. 평가결과를 토대로, 본 연구에서는 소방공무원 직무환경을 개선하기 위한 방안으로 소방인력 확충, 근무 교대 방식 개선, 낙후 장비 교체, 소방청사와 사무환경 개선 등과 같은 복지 항상 등을 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to present some alternatives to improve job environment of fire officers. To analyze job environment of fire officers, this study researches working condition, physical environment, organizational culture and human relationship. This study administrates a questionnaire method to measure the level of job environment. The number of subjects of the study is 304 fire officers, who randomly selected from fire stations in Kyungbuk province. Based on the analysis results, this study presents the increase of the number of staff, form change of work shift, replacement of decrepit equipments, and improvement of the facilities of fire station.
