대구광역시 자전거 이용 활성화 방안에 관한 연구

A Study on the Activation of Bike Ride

본 연구는 국내 및 해외의 자전거 선진국의 자전거 이용 활성화 정책을 조사하고 비교함으로써 대구광역시가 자전거 이용 활성화 선진도시가 되도록 정책적 방안을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다． 성공사례를 살펴보면 국가나 시차원의 적극적인 정책 입안과 지속적인 투자로 시민들이 자전거를 자동차보다 안전하고 편리하게 이용할 수 있도록 다양한 정책을 추진하고 있으나, 대구광역시는 아직 정책의 다양성 면 등에서 많이 부족한 형편이다. 지역 여건을 분석하고 국내 및 해외 사례 등을 면밀히 검토하여 실효성 높은 자전거 이용 활성화 정책을 수립하고 지속적인 추진과 모니터링 작업을 통해 자전거 정책들이 제대로 운영ㆍ관리 되도록 많은 관심을 가지고 꾸준히 추진해 나가야 할 것으로 보인다.

The purpose of this paper is to provide policy alternatives to activate bike ride at Daegu City by comparing the bike ride policies of foreign countries and Korea cities that are famous for bike ride. These countries such as Netherlands, Denmark, and France and cities such as Seoul, Daejeon, Changwon, and Sangju have well developed bike ride activation policies. However, transportation share rate for bike at Daegu City was very low due to the lack of facilities and understanding of citizens' for bike ride. Therefore. there needs a well established bike ride activation policy, and a continuous propelling power and monitoring work to make it is operated and managed properly.
