지역경쟁력 평가를 통한 지역발전전략 모색

Regional Development Strategies through Regional Competitiveness -Focus on Gunwi Case-

본 연구는 군위군의 삶의 질과 지속가능한 발전을 모색하기 위한 제반환경과 경쟁력을 높이려는 발전방안을 모색하고자 한 것으로 지역주민의 입장에서 군위군의 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 방안은 무엇이며, 지역의 지속기능한 발전을 위한 과제는 무엇인지를 구체적으로 제시하는 데 있다. 지방자치단체가 지역경쟁력을 갖추기 위해서는 현재 그 지역이 가진 경쟁력 수준을 정확하게 파악하고, 객관적인 평가와 결과에 따라 경쟁력 제고를 위한 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 것이 우선시 되어야 할 것이다. 지역경쟁력 평가를 통해 지역발전전략을 모색한 본 논문은 우선 통계 자료상에 나타난 자료를 토대로 1차적으로 지역경쟁력을 평가했고, 또한 실제 주민들이 체감하는 지역경쟁력 부문과 발전과제를 설문 조사함으로써 지역의 발전전략을 모색했다는 점에서 의의가 있다고 생각된다.
