학교폭력 실테에 대한 학생들의 인식 분석에 관한 연구

A Study on the Analysis of Students' Awareness on the Present Condition of School Violence -Focusing on middle and high school students in Gumi-City, Gyeongbuk-

본 연구는 도시와 농촌이 공존하는 복합도시의 학교폭력에 대한 현황과 실태를 분석, 예방대책 수립 방향을 제시하기 위함이며, 보다 심도있게 다각도로 접근, 분석하기 위해 경북 구미시 전체 중고등학교 45개교 25,174명에 대하여 전수조사를 실시하여 연구 분석으로 사용한 것이 특징이며, 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 활동범위가 좁은 읍ㆍ면의 공간적 특성과 선배와 후배를 염격히 구분하는 농촌 고유의 지역적 특성으로 인해 농혼지역 중ㆍ고등학교에서 학교폭력이 더 많이 발생하였다. 둘째, 다문화가정과 새터민가정의 학생에 대한 학교폭력은 각 0.8%, 0.5%로 아직까지는 크게 우려하지 않아도 되겠지만, 선행된 연구자료가 없어 비교 분석을 하지 못한 아쉬움은 있으나, 본 연구결과가 후행하는 연구에서 비교 분석의 자료로 사용될 수 있다는데 그 의의를 찾고자 한다. 분석 결과를 종합하면 학교폭력은 언제, 어디서든 발생되고 있다. 많음과 적음의 차이만 있을 뿐이다. 언제, 어디서, 누가, 왜, 많고, 적음 등과 같이 세분화하고 분석 결과에 따라 대처방안이 서로 달라야 한다. 또한 학교폭력의 원인은 수없이 많고, 그 수법 또한 다양하고 지능화되어 가고 있다. 이러한 학교폭력을 예방하고 근절하기 위해서는 가정ㆍ학교ㆍ시회ㆍ국가가 서로 연계하여 다양한 예방대책을 지속적으로 전개하도록 그 기반을 마련 해주어야 하며, 구체적인 대처방안은 각 학교나 지역의 특성을 반영한 다양한 모델을 개발하고, 지역이나 학교에서는 여건에 맞는 방안을 선택, 시행할 수 있도록 하는 것이 바람직하다.

This study is for presenting a school violence preventive measurement by analyzing the present condition of school violence in a rural-urban combined city. To get in-depth approach and analysis, this studying especially carried out complete enumeration survey of 25,174 students of 45 middle and high schools in Gumi-City, Gyeongbuk. The results are as follows. Firstly, there were higher occurrence of school violence due to spatial characteristics with narrow activity scope in Eup and Myeon, and also characteristics of rural area that had strict hierarchical order of senior and junior. Second, though there was no serious school violence toward students of multi-cultural family and North Korean defector family with 0.8% and 0.5% respectively, there was no previous study to compare with, this study could be used as a comparative resource for studies afterwards. Consequently, school violence took place whenever and wherever. The difference is only frequency. The means must be flexibly changed by categorizing it into when, where, why, many or few. Also, there are many causes of school violence and the methods had been more various and sophisticated. To prevent such violence, continual preventive means in alliance with home, school, society and state should continuously develop various preventive means. As for specific means, various models reflecting school and local characteristics must be developed and it is more desirable to choose and implement any means suitable for region and school.
