The purpose of this study is to examine whether moral dilemma debating can enhance students' character after reading young adult literature works. Moral dilemma was constructed based on reading, usually main ideal. For this, about 216 stories containing moral lesson were prepared, among which 75 stories were selected according to students' interest and level. 72 college students in Jinju were chosen based on their vocabulary and reading knowledge. They were divided into control group(36) and experimental group(36) randomly. The first did intensive reading of literary works and the second debated dilemma after extensive reading of literary works. For proper extensive reading, students' word and reading ability were examined. This study lasted for 16 weeks and students were taught five times a week. After reading dilemma was presented and students started dilemma debating. The results illustrated that debate on moral dilemma improved their character building.
