융합수업모델이 초등학교 저학년 학생들의 진로핵심역량 및 창의적 성격에 미치는 효과

An Effect of Confluence Instruction Model on Creative Personality and Career Key Competencies of Elementary School Students

본 연구는 이경화 외(2014)에 의해 개발된 진로핵심역량 함양을 위한 융합수업모델이 초등학교 저학년 학생의 진로핵심역량 및 창의적 성격 함양에 효과적인지를 확인하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 사회영역에서 요구되는 핵심역량 요인을 도출하고 확인하여, 이를 함양할 수 있는 융합수업모델을 개발한 후, 실험집단, 통제집단 사전-사후실험설계를 통한 실험연구를 진행하였다. 연구대상은 서울A초등학교 3학년 44명이었으며, 이들에게 사전, 사후검사로 창의적 성격검사, 진로핵심역량검사 및 교과기반 핵심역량 평가(동형검사 A, B)를 실시하였다. 사전검사 후 실험집단 22명에게 6주에 걸친 실험을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 진로핵심역량 함양을 위한 융합수업모델은 초등학교 저학년 학생들의 핵심역량과 창의적 성격을 부분적으로 향상시키는데 효과적이었음이 확인되었다. 최근 학생들의 핵심역량 함양 및 진로지도의 중요성이 강조되고 있으므로, 본 연구에서 개발되어 효과가 입증된 융합수업모델을 초등학교에서의 창의적 체험활동 시간이나 사회관련 교과목 시간에 적용하여 활용할 수 있기를 권하고 그 효과를 기대한다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of ‘Confluence Instruction Model (Lee & Kim, 2014)' on elementary school students’ creative personality and key competencies. Accordingly, the key competency’s sub-factors of social sector were extracted and identified through the Delphi method and then developed the instructional programs as confluence instruction model for fostering the key competencies of lower (3rd and 4th) grades elementary school students. The participants of this study were 44 3rd-grade elementary school students divided into experimental and control groups. The pre-and post-tests to identify the effect of experiments were three kinds of checklists for measuring key competency, creative personality (Lee, 2014) and assessment related with social study that were applied to the students as instructional programs. Experimental group students were treated with 14 sessions of the programs for six weeks. In this study's results, the effects of the program were identified (p<.001). After the experiment, students who have participated in this study improved in their key competencies, creative personality, and competencies related to the subject matter. The effects of the confluence instruction model that was designed for fostering the key competencies demanded in the future society was identified. The confluence instruction model will be used effectively in elementary school classrooms for career guidance, instruction of social subject-matter, and creative experience activity.
