The Relationships among Procedural Justice, Reputation, Chinese Corporate Leadership, Perceived Organizational Support and Knowledge Sharing Performances

An empirical study was carried out to analyze the relationships among procedural justice and reputation of alliance partners (independent variables), Chinese leadership (a mediating variable), perceived organizational support (a moderating variable), and inter-organizational knowledge-sharing performance (a dependent variable) using path analysis and partial least squares regression analysis. The results of statistical analyses indicate the following. Procedural justice of alliance partners was found to influence positively and significantly benevolent leadership and authoritarian leadership. Moreover, reputation of alliance partners was found to influence positively and significantly virtuous leadership and authoritarian leadership. In addition, virtuous leadership was found to influence positively and significantly knowledge-sharing performance. Virtuous leadership as a mediating variable was found to affect the relationship between reputation of alliance partners and knowledge- sharing performances while perceived organizational support as a moderating variable was found to affect the relationship between reputation and knowledge-sharing performance. Lastly, perceived organizational support was found to affect the relationship the between benevolent leadership and knowledge-sharing Performance.
