크라우드 펀딩을 활용한 사회 참여 미술교육 지도의 실제

Socially engaged art education using the crowd funding in the 6th grade

본 연구는 미술이 가진 사회적 관심과 실천을 통해 삶의 문제에 공감하고 해결하려는 예술 교육의 일환으로 이루어졌다. 사회 참여 미술교육은 학생들이 변화의 주체로서 성장할 수 있도록 하고 미술을 바라보는 관점을 확장하도록 하며, 개인적 삶의 문 제를 넘어선 사회적 변화와 공동체의 가치를 지향한다. 이에 따라 타인을 고려하며 나눔과 배려의 교육적 목표를 위해 소셜 네트워크를 활용하여 자금을 모금하는 크라우드펀딩(crowd funding)을 활용하여 미술활동을 기부와 연결시키고자 하였다. 미술의 사회적 성격과 실천을 중심으로 타교과를 연결하는 주제 통합적 교육 방안을 개발하여적용한 사례를 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 타교과와의 통합으로 사회적 변화와 공동체의 가치를 추구하는 미술활동을 통해 삶의 문제를 해결하려는 실천적 측면의 교육이 이루어졌고, 둘째, 이미지와 정보 및 시각 매체를 활용하여 오프라인과 온라인소통을 추구하였으며, 셋째, 미술에 대한 인식 변화가 이루어졌다. 본 연구는 미술교육을 통해 삶과 사회에 의미 있는 변화를 이끌어 낸 실천적 사례로써 향후 관련 분야의 확산을 위한 시사점을 제안한다

Recently empathizing with global problems in our society, the art practice is vigorously rising to solve it through social actions of art. According to this trend, the demand for education for socially engaged art has also gradually increased in order to create a meaningful change in human life and society through art education. In this regard this study aims to see the educational effects of socially engaged art education, by developing and applying the teaching plan encouraging art education to contribute to social participation, based on crowd funding-raising activity, and analyzing the result. The results are the students expanded their consciousness on the concept of art and improved their ability for visual communication. Also the students developed their ability in creativity through connecting their knowledge and skills. Moreover, performing a role as a leading the community to a better direction through art activities related to the life and actual world, the students experienced interdisciplinary art curriculum with socially engaged art activities. This study has a significant meaning, as it implies the educational possibility of socially engaged art by suggesting future implications for social engagement through art education. Going forward, it is expected to be a motif of further educational changes of art with more in-depth studies and practical cases.
