민간직업훈련기관에서 훈련생이 인식하는 담임교사 역할에 대한 요구분석

A Need Analysis on Roles of Class Teachers That Trainees Perceive in Private Vocational Training Institutes

본 연구는 최근 민간직업훈련기관에서 중요시되고 있는 직업훈련 담임교사의 역할과, 담임교사의 역할 중 직업훈련의 실제적 수요자인 훈련생의 요구도가 높은 역할이 무엇인지를 파악하여 직업훈련 담임교사의 중점 역할을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 직업훈련교사양성과정에 참여한 훈련교사들을 대상으로 브레인라이팅(Brain Writing)을 실시한 결과 3개 역할영역 총 38개 역할을 도출하였다. 도출된 역할을 기반으로 직업훈련 담임교사 역할에 대한 설문문항을 작성하였고 민간직업훈련기관의 훈련생을 대상으로 설문을 실시한 결과 총 305부를 수집하였다. 설문 데이터 분석은 t검정을 실시하여 각 역할별로 중요도 평균값과 실행수준 평균값의 차이를 확인하고 Borich 요구도 및 The Locus for Focus 모델을 활용하여 요구분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과, 직업훈련 담임교사 역할 중에서 최우선 역할은 5개로 차우선 역할은 10개로 나타났다. 특히, 훈련생이 인식하는 담임교사의 최우선 역할은 “수료생 사후관리(취업지원 및 사후상담)하기”, “수료예정자 및 수료생에게 취업알선하기”의 취업과 관련된 역할과 “동기부여를 위해 수강생과 주기적으로 상담하기”, “고충사항을 듣고 해결해주기 위해 수강생과 상담하기”, “진로설계를 위해 수강생과 주기적으로 상담하기”의 상담과 관련된 역할로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 토대로 논의와 시사점을 제시하였다.

Given that class teachers have become important in private vocational training institutes, this study aims to identify the roles of class teachers of vocational training and examine primary roles perceived by trainees with high needs. The purpose of this study, brain writing was implemented to identify relevant roles of class teachers of vocational training with 34 training teachers who participated in a training program for vocational training instructors. As a result, a total of 38 roles from 3 areas were identified. These roles were utilized to construct a survey for this study and then the survey was performed and collected from 305 trainees in private vocational training institutes. The survey data were analyzed to investigate primary roles that trainees perceived with high needs by using t-test, Borich formula, and the Locus for Focus model. The results show that the primary roles of class teachers that trainees perceived with high needs were as follows: 5 roles of class teachers with the first priority and 10 roles with the second priority. The discussion and implications are presented based on the results.
