미술교육에서 아동미술재료 인식변화의 필요성

Necessity of Changing the Conception of Juvenile Material of Art in Art Education

The education of art, under the influence of foreign trend of education, has undergone several reforms. Nevertheless, it is not too much to say that domestic education of art still remains at the level of preservation. Moreover, though curriculum aims at treating the contents of education in details through revision, it is never so easy task to observe the microscopic problems from activity of art and improve them. In reality, any continuous research on material and tools can never even be thought about. So suggestions are presented that research on juvenile material of art is continued until solved. Social phenomena as diversification,informationalization, pluralization and multi-culture require the improvement of education. Now when such aspects of age are transforming the art, the education of art should give learners hermenutical and self-initiative chance. Quest for juvenile material of art is without exception. Material of art is also regarded as one of artistic problems children encounter. That means the conception of material of art is expanded from previous one that it was regarded a mere material to draw. Modern material of art already jumps over its boundary. So it is senseless to fix the definition of material of art. Nevertheless, the material of art used in the field of education is with limitation and regulation. It is not reasonable to have children understand the open world of art through the material of art. A stereotype of art can be formed at the period of imagination and creativeness. So the research on the juvenile material of art is more important than adults and should be lasted. Not long before the present learners will become the members of society. The education should not stand for the past, nor the present, but for the future. For the destination, every part of education of art should stand for learners. The education should not be teacher-oriented, but learner-oriented so that learners themselves can discover a lot and the possibility of knowledge can also be enlarged. The material of art is also without exception in terms of education of art. So the material of art shouldn t be distant from children, instead an active participation, procedure and representation of the material should be considered.
