The purpose of this study is to determine if a learning method of gifted/talented art education based on Bloom s taxonomy of educational objectives and Gardner s theory of multiple intelligence among the teaching-learning methods for gifted/talented art education necessary for children in the pre-diagramming period to grow to be a gifted/talented person required by pluralistic modern society is effective in developing and exerting many types of talent by developing potential to the utmost through development of great power of thought and creative problem-solving abilities. The objectives were, first, to research and develop a learning method of gifted/talented art education based on Bloom s taxonomy of educational objectives and Gardner s theory of multiple intelligence; second, to analyze and test if the content of the developed learning method is effective in improving great power of thought, creative problem-solving abilities, imagination, and expression of their inner world among children in the pre-diagramming period. A 48-stage learning method of gifted/talented art education for children in the pre-diagramming period researched and developed on the basis of six stages of the cognitive area in Bloom s taxonomy of educational objectives and 8 intelligence areas in Gardner s theory of multiple intelligence was implemented in a total of 48 sessions, three sessions a week, for 16 weeks, by activity stages with 10 seven-year-olds, followed by pretest and post-test. For data processing, an SPSSWIN 12.0 program was used for analysis; empirical analyses were all tested at p<.05, p<.01, and p<.001 significance levels; and independent samples and t-test were used to determine differences between pretest and post-test. As a result, a learning method of gifted/talented art education based on Bloom s taxonomy of educational objectives and Gardner s theory of multiple intelligence is very effective in improving great power of thought, creative problem-solving abilities, imagination, and expression of the inner world among children in the pre-diagramming period, which suggests that it is useful to design a learning method of gifted/talented art education as an effective method to cultivate great power of thought and creative problem-solving abilities, exert high expression of the inner world, and develop and exert many types of talent by developing potential to the utmost among children in the pre-diagramming period.
