신석기시대 후말기 이중구연토기 형성과정 재검토

Reconsideration on the formation of double-rimed Pottery in the last period of Neolithic Age

본고는 신석기시대 말기 이중구연토기가 무문토기시대로의 전환과정을 엿볼 수 있는 실마리를 제공할거라는 관점에서 공통된 합의가 이루어지지 않은 이중구연토기 형성 과정에 초점을 맞추어 검토하였다. 신석기시대 이중구연토기 형성에 관하여 크게 외부기원설, 자체발생설이 있으며, 각각의 다양한 견해를 검토하여 자체발생설 특히 남부내륙지역 발생설과 남해안지역 발생설을 대상으로 검토하였다. 먼저 남부내륙지역 신석기시대 후말기 토기편년을 수립하고 남해안지역과의 병행 관계를 설정하였다. 그 결과, 이중구연토기가 남해안지역보다 앞서 신석기시대 후기 후엽에 남부내륙지역에서 출현함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이중구연토기는 기존 연구처럼 내륙지역 봉계리식토기의 구연공백부를 유지하는 의식이 제작기법에 투영되어 이중 구연이 형성된 것으로 이해하였다. 한편, 이중구연토기 출현시점, 이중구연형태, 문양 구성으로 볼 때, 이중구연토기가 남해안지역에서 형성될 요건들이 갖추어져 있지 않음을 확인하였다. 내륙지역에서 이중구연토기가 출현한 후 남해안 각지로 확산되어 남해안식 이중 구연토기가 형성되는 시점을 말기로 파악하였다. 이중구연토기의 확산에 따른 남해안식 이중구연토기의 출현을 시기구분 획기로 삼은 이유는 당시 주거양식 변화가 기후환경적 요인과 결합하면서 새로운 변화를 이끌어내었다고 보았기 때문이다.

In this paper, the formation of double-rimed pottery still have not been in agreement was examined from a new angle that double-rimed pottery at the end of Neolithic age could be a clue to solve the changing process from the end of Neolithic Age to early Mumon Pottery Age(Bronze Age). There are 2 arguments the origins from outside and occurrence itself. Among a variety of opinions above, I studied especially the occurrence in the southern interior region and the occurrence in the southern coast region. Frist, made the chronology and the parallel-relationship with pottery between the southern interior region and the southern coast region. As a result, It was confirmed that double-rimed Pottery had been appeared at the southern interior region in the late phase of the last Neolithic Age. Double-rimed Pottery is formed by consciousness was projected in manufacturing pottery to keep lip part s gap of Bongge-ri type pottery as existing study. Meanwhile, the meaning of Double-rimed Pottery s appearance time, form and design composition, It is sure that factors to form Double-rimed Pottery are not fitted in the southern coast region. After the appearance of Double-rimed Pottery in the southern interior region, I figured out the time being spread to various parts of the southern coast region to the end of the Neolithic Age. Because the spread of double-rimed Pottery derived a new transition due to the change of settlement style combined with climatic environment s factors and change.
