잉여현금흐름과 외국인주주가 배당성향에 미치는 영향

The Effect of Free Cash Flow, Foreign Investor and Pay-out Ratio

본 연구에서는 기업의 잉여현금흐름과 외국인주주의 지분율이 배당률에 미치는 영향을 검증함에 있어 배당률을 평균배당과 배당성향으로 구분하여 연구하였다. 연구의 표본은 2003년부터 2014년까지 한국거래소에 상장되어 있는 6,810개의 기업을 대상으로 다중회귀분석을 통하여 검증 하였으며, 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 외국인주주의 지분율이 기업의 잉여현금흐름에 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 분석하였으며, 외국인주주의 지분율이 기업의 잉여현금흐름에 양의 영향을 미치고 있다. 둘째, 잉여현금흐름이 기업의 배당정책에 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 분석하였으며, 잉여현금흐 름이 배당정책에 음의 영향을 미치고 있다. 셋째, 외국인주주의 지분율이 기업의 배당정책에 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 분석하였으며, 외국 인주주의 지분율이 배당정책에 양의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 기업의 잉여현금흐름과 외국인주주의 지분율이 배당정책에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하 였으며, 잉여현금흐름은 음의 영향을 미치며, 외국인주주의 지분율변수는 양의 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 그리고 본 연구는 현금흐름표상의 현금흐름을 고려하여 연구한 것이 아니라 투자한 금액을 고려한 잉여현금흐름으로 배당정책에 미치는 영향을 연구하여 보다 유용한 정보를 제공할 것으로 보인다.

The Purpose of this study discusses foreign investor shares and free cash flow of the impact on pay out ratio. And the dividend rate for average dividends and payout ratio by dividing it into the research. We have analyzed the relationship between the two focusing on Korea stock exchange(6,810) from 2003 to 2014, and our findings are as follows: First, foreign investors shares analyzed about the effect on the free cash flow. And foreign investor shares showed firms ’ free cash flow positive implications. Second, free cash flow analyzed about the effect on the dividend policy. And free cash flow showed dividend policy negative implications. Third, foreign investors shares analyzed about the effect on the dividend policy. And foreign investors shares showed dividend policy positive implications. Fourth, free cash flow and foreign investors shares analyzed about the effect on the dividend policy. And dividend policy showed free cash flow negative implications and foreign investors shares positive implications. And in this study, not taking into the cash flows from the cash flow statement, considering the amount of money by working on an effect on dividend policy with free cash flow will provide more useful information.
