Analysis of the Relationship between Conflict Determinants and Residential Satisfaction of Return to Farming People

This study aimed to provide return to farming people with important information for their successful agricultural life by analyzing the influencers on their conflict determinants and its relationship to residential satisfaction. And it attempted to analyze data on 437 return to farming people obtained from the research conducted for this purpose. As a result, the following findings were obtained: First, it was found that their neighborship and community participation had a positive effect on their conflict management. This indicates that for the purpose of effective conflict management, it is important that they should maintain friendly relations with neighbors and take active part in the community in relation to village events and the like. Second, it was found that conflict management had a positive effect on residential satisfaction and that neighborship and community participation did not so much have a direct effect on residential satisfaction but rather it had an indirect effect on it through conflict management. These findings suggest that an effective conflict management strategy is more important than anything else for return to farming people to succeed to take root in the community and that there is a need to establish the policy for revitalizing the education and exchange between return to farming people and native residents.
