청소년의 진로교육, 진로의사결정 및 진로준비에 대한 질적 연구

A Qualitative Study on the Career Education, Career Decision Making, and Career Preparation of Youth

본 연구는 청소년들의 진로경험을 질적 분석함으로서 그동안 받은 진로교육은 어떠한지, 지금까지의 진로의사결정 및 현재 진로준비는 어떠한지 심층적으로 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 청소년 15명(남학생 7명)을 대상으로 2015년 9월에 개인면접 을 실시하였다. 면접 내용을 합의적 질적 분석(CQR)방법으로 분석한 결과, 3개 영역, 13개 범주, 50개의 하위범주로 구분할 수 있었다. 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로교육의 영역에서 청소년들이 경험한 진로교육이 대부분 긍정적이었고 도움을 받은 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 진로상담과 같은 개별적인 진로교육의 기회가 매우 부족한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로의사결정의 영역에서 경험과 자기이해를 근거로 희망 직업을 선택 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부모 등 주변인의 영향, 환경적 영향 도 중요하게 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로준비 영역에서는 학업을 중요하게 생각하는 것으로 나타났고, 진로준비에 긍정적 도움을 주는 것으로 주변의 지지가 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 향후 청소년의 주도적인 진로개발, 통합 적인 진로교육의 방향과 세부적 내용 및 제도마련의 기초가 될 것이다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점 및 제한점이 논의되었다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the career experience of youth, which was to focused on the career education, career decision making, and career preparation. To do this, we interviewed 15 youth(boy 7) in September of 2015. The interview data was analyzed by consensual qualitative research. The results of this study were as follows. First, the youth evaluated about career education positively and helpful. However, career counseling was insufficient for them. Second, they chose their career dream based on their experience and self-understanding. Parents and supporters were effect on their dream. Third, they considered study important for their career preparation, and the support of family and friends were positive factor. The result of this study will be a foundation of career development system and education for youth. We discussed of implication and limitations of this study
