중등학교 교사의 다문화 태도, 다문화 교수 역량, 다문화 효능감 간의 구조 관계 분석

A Structural Relationship among Multicultural Attitude, Multicultural Teaching Competency, and Multicultural Efficacy for Secondary School Teacher

이 연구의 목적은 중등학교 교사가 지각하는 다문화 태도, 다문화 교수 역량 및 다문화 효능감 간의 구조 관계를 알아보는 것이다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 경남지역 소재 중등학교 교사 300명을 대상으로 2016년 6월 1일에서 6월 17일 까지 설문조사 실시하였다. 그 결과, 최종 연구대상 260명의 설문조사 결과에 대해 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석, 구조방정식모형 분석 등을 수행하였다. 이에 대한 구체적인 연구결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등학교 교사의 다문화 태도와 다문화 교수 역량, 다문화 태도와 다문화 효능감, 다문화 교수 역량과 다문화 효능감 간에 유의한 높은 정적 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 중등학교 교사의 다문화 태도, 다문화 교수 역량 및 다문화 효능감 간의 영향관계를 설명하는 가설적 경로모형은 최초 연구모형을 수정하여 산출한 최종 연구모형이 대체로 적합하였다. 셋째, 구조방정식모형에 의한 경로관계 분석 결과에서, 중 등학교 교사의 다문화 태도가 다문화 효능감에 직접적인 영향(.566)을 미쳤지만, 교사의 다문화 교수 역량을 매개로 다문화 효능감에 영향을 미치는 총효과(.878)가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

This study aims to analyze the structural relationship between multicultural attitude, multicultural teaching competency, multicultural efficacy that secondary school teachers perceive, and for this aim, a survey was conducted with 260 Secondary school teachers working in Gyeongsangnamdo Province and the result was analyzed. The detailed results of study are as follows. First, there was a highly significant positive relationship between multicultural attitude and multicultural teaching competency, multicultural attitude and multicultural efficacy, multicultural teaching competeny and multicultural efficacy. Second, as for hypothetical path model that explains the influential relationship among multicultural attitude, multicultural teaching competency, and multicultural efficacy of secondary school teachers, the final model that was made by correcting the initial research model was appropriate. Third, in the result of analyzing path relationship by structure equation modeling, multicultural attitude of secondary school teachers had a direct influence on multicultural efficacy(.566), but the total effect on multicultural efficacy was bigger through multicultural teaching competency(.878). That is, in order to raise multicultural teaching competency of secondary school teachers, the change of teachers’ multicultural attitude is important but what is more important is cultivating multicultural teaching competency such as knowledge about multiculture, multicultural teaching skills, and multicultural relationship and attitude.
