교육대학원 교육행정전공 운영 현황 분석 연구

An Analysis on the Condition of Operation on Major of Educational Administration in Graduate School of Education

본 연구는 우리나라 교육대학원 교육행정전공의 운영 현황을 분석하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 우리나라에서 규모가 큰 20개 교육대학원의 선정하여 해당 대학들의 교육행정전공 운영 현황을 체제분석모형을 바탕으로 분석하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 투입 측면에서 우리나라 교육대학원 교육행정전공은 학생 입학 자원이 다양하지 못하 며, 교수 자원이 영세하고, 입학생 수가 지속적으로 감소하는 특징이 나타났다. 둘째, 과정 측면에서는 우리나라 교육대학원 교육행정전공들이 교육목표가 불명확하고, 교육과정이 이론중 심적이며, 석사학위 과정에 충실하지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 산출 측면에서는 우리나라 교육대학원 교육행정전공들이 지식과 안목을 길러주는 데에는 기여하고 있으나, 실무능력 향상에는 기여하지 못하며, 배출되는 학위논문 수가 급격하게 줄어들고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 환류 측면에서는 교육대학원 교육행정전공에서 배출되는 학위논문의 질 평가 기제가 없으며, 환류기제가 거의 작동되지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 환경 측면에서는 부정적인 환경이 더 많으며, 대체로 거시적인 환경의 영향을 받고, 특히 제도적 환경의 영향을 크게 받고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구 결과를 바탕으로 우리나라 교육대학원 교육행정전공의 발전을 위해서는 학교 및 교육 현장에서의 교육행정 수요 발굴, 교육행정 교육체제 간의 연계, 국가 차원의 교원현직교육 방향 정립, 실행연구중심의 교육행정전공 운영 등이 필요함을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the characteristics on the condition of operation on major of educational administration in graduate school of education. For that purpose, I analysed system on 20 institutions of major of educational administration in graduate school of education. The results of this study are as followings. 1) In the regard of input, there are not diverse students, there is lacking in the number of teachers, and the students are decreased on major of educational administration in graduate school of education. 2) In the regard of process, educational objectives are uncertain, curruculm is theoretical directivity, the master s course is weak on major of educational administration in graduate school of education. 3) In the regard of output, the knowledge and insight of students are developed, but the executive ability are not developed, the number of dissertation is decreased on major of educational administration in graduate school of education. 4) In the regard of feedback, there are not the quality control system, the feedback system is not operated on major of educational administration in graduate school of education. 5) In the regard of environment, negative environments are more than positive environments, there are influenced by macro environments and institutional environments on major of educational administration in graduate school of education. Based on the result of this study, I suggest that we need to find the site demand for educational administration, we need to make the connection system among the educational institutions for educational administration, we need national direction establishment for in-service teacher education, finally we have to focus on the action research of educational administration.
