A note on public health expenditures and economic output：

It is widely accepted that public health expenditure (PHE) causes good health, which positively contributes to economic output. This note attempts to investigate the effect of PHE on economic output using a cross-country analysis based on data gathered from 87 countries over the period 1990-2000. The results show that PHE significantly contributes to the economic output.
