澹臺滅明에 관한 一考察 － 기록에 담긴 敎訓的 側面을 중심으로 －

Consideration of Tan-tai Mie-ming : Based on moral lesson aspects of the record

춘추시대 공자의 제자들 중 한 명인 담대멸명과 관련하여 논어 , 대대 례기 , 사기 , 한비자 , 공자가어 등 경적들을 다각도로 살펴 각 내용이 담고 있는 교훈적 측면들을 도출하였다. 각 자료들의 기록내용은 그것이 어느 저작에 속해있는지에 따라 전달하 려는 교훈이 각각 상존하고 있으며 이 작업은 담대멸명에 대해 어렴풋하게 가지고 있던 이미지들을 체계화하는 데에도 필요하다.동서고금에는 인간의 외관 혹은 차림새를 소재로 하여 일정한 교훈을 주고 있는 에피소드가 존재해오는데 이와 마찬가지로 동양의 담대멸명 관련 기록에서도 공자라는 유교의 성인이 한 사람의 인간을 바라보고 있는 시각을 살펴볼 수 있다. 담대멸명의 행적과 관련하여 여타 기록들 중에 남아 있는 그의 중국 강남 에서의 마지막 발자취와 후학들에게 끼친 영향에 대해서도 간략히 기술하 였다.

This study focuses on Tan-tai Mie-ming, one of the Confucius Disciples during Spring and Autumn Period and derives moral lesson aspects about him through reviewing every level of several Scripture and Classics like Lun-yu , Da-dai-li-ji , Shi-ji , Han-fei-zi and Kong-zi-jia-yu . Since the record of each text has its own moral lesson depending on where it has been involved, Tan-tai Mie-ming was differently described in these texts. Therefore, it is requisite to reorganize his image to better understand him and the related lessons. As episodes with a certain lesson associated with human appearance or attire have existed at all times and places, Kong-zi, the Confucius Confucian Saint has also shown his opinion on a human being in his orient records. This study investigates his view concerning Tan-tai Mie-ming. In addition, it presents the remaining of other records in relation to Tan-tai Mie ming and briefly summarizes his last traces in southern China and his impact to his juniors.
