Brexit is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from European Union (EU). Once United Kingdom leaves the EU, the Republic of Korea government has to negotiate with United Kingdom. So the purpose of this article is to suggest the some current issues concerning the Republic of Korea and United Kingdom’s next Free Trade Agreement after Brexit. The Republic of Korea’s exports to the United Kingdom totaled US$7.39 billion in 2015, a mere 1.4 percent of total exports. But United Kingdom’s market size is huge and very big. so the market of United Kingdom is very important. For this study, I investigated the current situation of international trade including outward Foreign Direct Investment and inward Foreign Direct Investment between the Republic of Korea and United Kingdom. and I analyzed the current status of Non-Tariff Barriers and Rules of Origin in United Kingdom.
