어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 기질, 모자녀간 조화적합성과 어린이집생활 적응행동과의 관계

Effects of mother’s child-rearing attitude, infant temperament and goodness of fit between infant and mother on adaptive behavior in daycare center life

현대사회는 가족구조의 변화와 더불어 맞벌이 부부의 증가 및 부모의 보육욕구의 다양화 등으로 영유아보육에 대한 관심이 고조됨에 따라 어린이집에서의 유아들이 보여주는 적응행동의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 따라서 어머니의 양육태도와 유기체 자신의 개별적인 특성인 유아의 기질 및 조화적합성과 어린이집생활 적응 행동간의 복합적인 관계를 파악하는 것은 필수적인 과제라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 어머니의 양육태도와 유아의 기질 및 조화적합성이 유아가 어린이집생활에서의 적응행동이 어떠한지를 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위한 연구대상은 현재 서울과 경기도 및 제주특별자치도 지역에 소재한 총 7개 어린이집에 다니는 만 4세 유아 305명과 어머니, 그리고 어린이집에서의 유아의 담임교사들을 대상으로 2015년 10월부터 12월까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 만4세 유아를 대상으로 한 본 연구결과에서는 유아의 성별과 보육경험, 어머니의 교육수준과 직업, 월평균 수입에 따라 어머니의 양육태도는 차이가 있으며 유아의 적응적 기질과 규칙적 기질이 유아의 어린이집 적응에 가장 큰 영향을 주는 요인으로 밝혀졌다. 또한 유아의 기질과 어머니가 요구하는 기질의 조화도가 어린이집에서 유아의 적응행동에 관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

As interests in childcare are rising due to the increase in dual-income families and diversified childcare needs, etc. along with the changes in family structure, the importance of adaptive behavior that infants are showing in day care center has been emphasized. Identifying effects of mother’s child-rearing attitude, infant temperament which is individual characteristic of organism itself and goodness of fit on adaptive behavior in daycare center life would be an essential task. This study aims to identify effects of mother’s child-rearing attitude, infant temperament and goodness of fit on infant’s adaptive behavior in daycare center life. Regarding the subjects for this, the study was carried out for 305 infants 4 years old attending 7 different day care centers which are currently located in Seoul, Gyeonggi Province and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province, their mothers and the questionnaires were conducted from October to December 2015 for the class teachers of infants in day care center. In this study targeting for infants 4 years old, there was a difference in child-rearing attitude depending on gender of infant, child care experience, mother’s educational level and occupation and monthly income and adaptive temperament and regular temperament are the factors having the greatest impact in the adaptation of day care center children. Also, it was appeared that infant temperament and the harmony of temperament required by mother have a relationship with the adaptive behavior of infants in day care center.
