도상자료와 춤에 스토리텔링을 활용한 궁중정재 지도 방안

A Study on Teaching Methods of Court Dance Using Storytelling, Iconographic Materials and Dance

본 연구는 국악 감상 제재곡으로 제시된 궁중정재를 학습자의 흥미를 높이고 보다 창의적으로 지도하기 위해 도상자료와 춤에 이야기를 적용하여 스토리텔링기법으로 지도하는 방안을 모색하였다. 초 중학교 음악교과서에 제시된 궁중정재는 ‘학무, 처용무, 포구락, 향발무, 춘앵전, 무고, 헌선도, 봉래의’ 등이며, 주요 지도 내용은 춤과 음악의 관계, 문화적 가치, 음악의 시대적 특징이었다. 지도 방법은 단순 감상하기, 신체표현하며 감상하기, 음악적 특징 표현하며 감상하기, 창의적 표현하기, 조사하여 발표하기, 토론하기 등 다양하였지만 학생들의 흥미와 적극적인 참여를 유도하기에는 미흡하였다. 따라서 음악교과서 상 출현 빈도가 높고 도상자료와 관련 이야기가 많은 ‘학무’와 ‘처용무’를 선정하여 통합적이고 창의적인 지도 방안을 구상하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 고문헌에 나타난 ‘학무’와 ‘처용무’의 도상자료, 관련 설화, 역사적 사건을 수집하였고, 현재 연행되고 있는 국립국악원의 동영상 자료를 기반으로 역사적 사건이나 설화와 관련지어 스토리를 재구성하였으며, 이를 활용하여 단순 감상하기, 스토리텔링하며 감상하기, 스토리텔링을 활용하여 춤으로 표현하고 감상하기, 스토리텔링을 활용하여 창의적으로 표현하고 감상하기의 단계에 맞추어 학교 현장에서 활용 가능한 교수 학습활동을 구안하여 제시하였다.

Court dance is consisted of singing, dancing and playing musical instruments so that it includes many musical elements. Therefore, in teaching court dance multifaceted musical activities are required in music classes. The main teaching method of court dance in music textbooks of the elementary and middle school is simply listening to music and watching video after students learn the characteristics of the music. Diverse and effective teaching methods are needed to increase students understanding and interest about court dance. In accordance with the above needs this study has looked for teaching methods of court dance using storytelling, iconographic materials and dance. Storytelling was based on historical events associated with iconographic materials and related folk tales. First, researcher analyzed teaching contents and teaching-learning activities of court dance in music textbooks of the elementary and middle school. And being based on this analysis, Hakmu and Cheoyongmu was selected as court dance appropriate to use storytelling. Hakmu and Cheoyongmu have many iconographic materials as well as related folk tale. Second, researcher set the teaching stage of court dance and made teaching-learning activities to teach in the elementary and middle school following the teaching steps. As a result of this study, researcher found out that court dance is very appropriate to teach using storytelling because of having many iconographic materials and stories related with historical events. In addition, we can expect the educational effects that teaching methods using storytelling, iconographic materials and dance make students participate actively in the music class.
