김소월의 전기적 사실 비판적 고찰

A Critical Study on The Unreasonable period of Kim, So-wol

김소월은 『진달래꽃』을 상재한 이후 작품 발표가 저조해지는 부자연스러운 행보를 보인다. 그 이유를 밝히는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다. 필자는 김소월의 전기적 사실을 기록해놓은 안서의 글을 비판적으로 비교 검토하고, 김억이 글을 발표한 시기와 발표지면 등을 면밀히 고찰하여 김억의 의도를 파악하는 데 주력했다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 사실을 알아냈다. 김억은 「소월의 생애와 시가」를 쓸 때만 해도 소월의 유고를 공개하고 소월의 작품세계를 밝히는 글을 쓸 계획이었다. 소월의 유고를 공개하면 소월이 발표를 하지 못한 이유도 밝혀질 것이므로 그것이 두려워 안서는 유고가 있다는 것을 감추고 소월이 시작을 스스로 포기했다고 소월의 전기를 왜곡한다. 이런 목적으로 쓴 글이 「요절한 박행시인 김소월에 대한 추억」이다. 이 글은 소월 사후 4년 뒤에 다시 발표된다. 안서가 소월의 발표를 방해했다는 것을 암시하는 김동환의 글이 불러올 파장을 잠재우기 위한 것이다. 1년 뒤에 이 글은 다시 발표된다. 「소월의 생애」도 같은 시기에 발표되는데, 김소월의 유고를 가지고 있었다는 사실이 밝혀진 뒤 사태를 수습하기 위한 목적이었다. 김소월이 많은 유고를 남겼다는 사실을 통해서 우리는 그가 작품을 발표할 수 없는 상황이었음을 알 수 있다. 김소월의 전기적 사실을 토대로 김소월 연구는 다시 시작되어야 한다.

This paper aims to prove the reason why Kim, So-wol wrote few works for magazine after publishing Azalea Flower (1925.12). Comparative study on the several critical essays about Kim, So-wol written by Kim, Ok reveals material facts. Kim, Ok intended to arrange the posthumous manuscripts of Kim, So, Wol when he wrote the critical essay Kim So, Wol and his poems and to write a critical essay on Kim, So, Wol’s whole works. But he distorted the facts about achievements of Kim, So wol because he was afraid － of his evil doings coming to light. He wrote the critical essay The memories of unfortunate Poet Kim, So-wol who died to be young to conceal the fact that Kim, So-wol wrote many poems but he could not print . After four years preventing the secret leak out Kim, Ok printed this essay again when Kim, Dong-hwan printed his letter and Kim, So-wol’s on the magazine Samchulli (1938.10). After an year this essay printed again to control the problem that he had hidden the posthumous manuscripts of Kim, So-wol. A large number of posthumous manuscripts certify the fact that Kim, So-wol could not print his works. On the bases of truth recently discovered we have to study Kim, So-wol and his works in a new way.
