In this study, the hazard rate of the indoor environrnent of Children’s Educationa1 Facilities in Seoul was conducted, in order to detennine how the indoor environments of these facilities, where infants and children spend the most time of their away from home day, can effect their health. Thε way of measurε, ment and ana1ysis were done according to the lndoor Air Quality Standard Method, and the Risk Assessment was accomplished with sevεra1 significant ways -Hazard ldentification, Exposure Assessment, Dose-response Assessment, Risk Characterization, which are deighed by Nationa1 Research Council (NRC). On εach exposure factors, documentary and questiony research such as Epidemiological study and Toxicological study were conductεd. ηle result of the CTE (Centra1 tendency exposure) of Formaldehyde and Benzene by Monte-Carlo simulation was 6.79x lO 2.50x lO-7 which in the case of Forma1dehyde exceeded the pennitted standard (10) of thε US EPA. The RME (Reasonable maximum exposure) was 7.31xlO-s, 2.65x lO which did not exceed 10-4, the maximum permitted standards in the US EPA.
