We investigated a tr t of odor and the relationship between odor unit and odorous compounds using multiple regression anysis based on data compiled from Sihwa (SIC), Banwol IC), Banwol plating (BPIC) and Poseung industria1 complεx(pIC). ηlese areas are odor control areas in Gyeonggi provincε.lt was nε:vea1ed that NH3 and styrene concentrations in SIC and BPIC were relatively higher and H2S concentration especiIy in BIC was more than five times higher than other areas. As a result of regression ana1ysis using SAS, intensity of odor unit was highly relatεd to concentrations of H2S, 1MA, styrene and n-va1era1dehyde in SIC, H2S, acetaldehyde, and butyraldehyde in BPIC and NH3 in BIC.
