韓國의 輸出入 決定要因과 變化推移 分析

The Korean economy has achieved a stead and high growth since I960 s. Trade has made a great contribution to the economic growth of Korea and will do so in the future. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the determinants and examine the trend of import and export in Korea. The approach of this thesls is that, first, the import and export functions with the variable of the deferminants is made and second, the structural change from 70 s (1970 1/4~1979 4/4) to 80 s (1980 1/4~1986 4/4) is examined by Chow - test on the base of the above function. The study shows that the non-price competition factors in the export demand function, the porduction capacity in the export supply function and the domestic market price in the import demand function are the most important determinants. As a result, the trade balance of Korea will be improved by controling the three key determinants.
