A Comparative Study on Context of Korea, America, Japanese Primary School s Textbook

이 연구는 한국, 미국, 일본 초등학교 국어 교과서의 내용구성을 비교 분석하였 다. 단원 구성은 한국, 일본은 읽기. 듣기/말하기. 쓰기 등의 언어 기초능력에 따라 단원을 구성하였고, 미국 국어 교과서는 주제 위주였다. 한국, 일본 국어 교과서 장르는 비슷하고, 미국은 모든 장르가 고르게 분포되어 있다. 한국, 미국, 일본의 국어 교과서 작품의 주제는 국가, 민족, 사회 공동체의 선을 장려하는 글이 많았다. 한국, 미국, 일본 세 나라 모두 자국 작가의 작품 위주로 국어 교과서 내용을 구성하였다.

This study compared the context of official language textbooks of Korea, America and Japan. Korean and Japanese literature textbook s chapter is composed of basic language ability such as reading, writing, speaking, listening. On the other hands, American textbook s chapter is composed according to themes. Genres of Korean and Japanese textbooks were similar and the US textbooks were evenly ranged. Textbooks of three countries promoted goods of social communities and topics were focused on the state and nationality. Korean literature textbook emphasize on patriotism against Japanese imperialism, but American literature textbook s patriotism stress on conversion of races and nations who has lived in America. Most texts were extracted from works of native writers.
