This study looks into adolescents’ school violence victimization characteristics as aiming to understand group characteristics of latent classes. The study used cross-section data of ’Korean Children and Youth’s Human Rights Survey (2013)’ and carried out a latent class analysis on adolescents’ school violence victimization types targeting 9,521 adolescents between the fourth year of elementary school and the third year of high school in the country. Results of the analysis came up with two class types depending on goodness-of -fit index and latent class division factor. As for Type 1, the level appeared to be high enough to confirm the type to be a relatively risky group. Type 2 was named a safe group for the level was observed to be low. A binary logistic regression analysis was conducted to forecast adolescents’ school violence victimization characteristics focusing on the safe group and according to the findings, as long as the study concentrated on the safe group, as adolescents were female, as the targets had no experience of running away from home, as the levels of a target’s schools increased from an elementary school to a high school, as subjective health conditions and degrees of happiness got greater and as one got less stressed out, a chance of one being classified into the safe group rose. In terms of independent variables to significantly affect school violence victimization characteristics, levels of schools were observed to be most influential followed by stress. Implications, limits and directions in follow-up research were offered by the study as well.
