A study was conducted to investigate the effect of modifying and applying program in association with food wastes on environmental attitude and behavior in elementary school. The programs in associated with food waste were practically used in 8 times of discretional activities. Also They were properly well organize with element of knowledge, emotion and behavior. Two classes in the fifth grade were selected from D elementary school in Daegu-city and then divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was provided with instruction by program in associated food wastes, while the controlled group was provided with the traditional type of instruction. Each of the groups went through the pre-test and post-test for environmental attitude and behavior. Comparative experimental group with control group, experimental group showed more improvement of significantly different than control group in the both experimental attitude and behavior (P<.01). Therefore, program in association with food wastes can improve both environmental attitude and behavior of school subjects for the fifth grade students.
