The purpose of this study was to investigate the history and the importance of Life Science area contents in Practical Arts education, to evaluate the Life Science area contents in Revised Practical Arts Education National School Curriculum, and to offer the theoretical background to set the right direction for future Life Science education. Conclusions from this study were as follows; 1. There was no theoretical background for deleting one large unit and two medium units. Also those independent 4 medium units in life science area became 2 selective units. 2. There was no identification for Practical Arts education in the Revised Practical Arts education National School Curriculum. 3. National and social needs were not reflected in the contents of Life Science in the Revised Practical Arts education National School Curriculum. 4. The contents of Life Science in the Revised Practical Arts education National School Curriculum were not developed based on the 3 principles of curriculum.
