Purpose of this study is supplying foundation of class in clothing education area by developing and presenting standards of lecture about clothing education in practical art education as the second major. Lecture plans of subjects of clothing education area were construed. And then subjects and education contents of lecture of 15 weeks of clothing education area in practical art education as the second major were reconstituted based on frequency of lecture and direction of education contents in elementary clothing education that was proposed by Jung(2005)). Education contents of 15 weeks that is reorganized adaptively to the second major s education contents excepts education contents of home economics area that is developed at program that educate primary school s teachers. Thus, Standards of lecture about clothing education s subjects of lecture and education contents were developed. Lecture standard about clothing education in practical art education as the second major s subjects of lecture and education contents are 1 subject (1 lecture) elimentary clothing education , 2 subject (2 lecture) weaving , 3 subject (3 lecture) hand sewing , 4 subject (4-5 lecture), sewing by sewing machine , 5 subject (6-7 lectures) knitting by bamboo needle , 6subject (8-9 lectures) knitting by crochet hook , 7 subject(10-11 lectures) korean costume , 8 subject(12-13 lectures) dyeing , 9 subject(14 lecture) quitting , 10 subject(15 lecture) cross-stitch . Lecture standards about clothing education in practical art education as the second major s subjects of lecture and education contents could elevate interest of elementary school pupils and composed to contents of suitable degree of difficulty in primary school level. Also, characteristic of standards of developed lecture can select by education contents of 1 term by university of education s situation.
