The purpose of this study was to determine the present levels of learning strategies and their relationship with learning achievement of pre-elementary school teachers at practical arts class. To achieve the purpose of this study, the Learning and Study Strategy Inventory(Weinstein, Palmer, & Schulte, 1987) was used as questionnaire. The population of the survey was all students who were taking Practical arts class in C National University of Education. The findings of this study were as follows: 1) the personal characteristics of pre-elementary school teachers was more than 70% men and most students career is to become elementary teachers, 2) the present levels of learning strategies of pre-elementary school teachers at practical arts teaching and learning class are a little above average, 3) there are significant difference between learning strategies and gender, and the average learning strategies of women are higher than man s learning strategies, 4) the relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement can be shown and the relationship between concentration and learning achievement can be shown
