대학생의 진로성숙도와 부모의 사회경제적 지위, 자아 존중감 및 자기 효능감의 인과적 관계

Structural Relationship among Career Maturity, SES, Self-esteem, Self-efficacy of the College Student

이 연구는 대학생의 진로성숙도와 부모의 사회경제적 지위, 자아존중감, 자기효능감 간의 인과관 계를 밝히는 데 목적을 두고 수행되었다. 이를 위해 한국청소년개발원의 한국청소년 패널조사 (KYPS)의 자료를 활용하여 1,398명의 대학생 자료가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 20.0을 활용하여 구조방정식모형으로 분석되었다. 이 연구를 통해 밝혀진 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 대학생의 진로성숙도와 부모의 사회 경제적 지위, 자아존중감, 자기효능감 간의 관계를 가설적으로 제시한 이 연구모형의 적합도가 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자아존중감은 자기효능감(β=.568)과 진로성숙도(β= .156)에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 자기효능감도 진로성숙도(β=.250)에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 부모의 사회경제적 지위는 자기효능감이나 진로성숙도에 직접적 영향을 미치지 않았으나 자아존중감(β=.107)에는 직접적 매개효과를 검증되었다. 또한 부모의 사회경제적 지위는 자기효능감(β=.061)을 통해 간접적으로 진로성숙도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과를 토대로 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

This study examined the structural relations among four variables(socioeconomic status, self-esteem, self-efficacy, career maturity) of college students by structural equation modeling. A total of 1,398 participants in the sixth Youth Panel Data conducted by the Korea Institute for Youth Development. Results from structural equation modeling analyses indicated the following: Firstly, The research model proposed by research was supported. Secondly, all of the hypotheses were tested; SES had an direct impact on the self-esteem and an indirect impact on the career maturity through self-esteem. Self-esteem had an impact on the self-efficacy and an direct impact on the career maturity through self-efficacy. and self-efficacy had an impact on the career maturity. Based on the research results, some limitations of this study and implications for future studies were discussed.
