본 연구는 학생들이 직접 제작한 UCC를 교육적으로 활용한 학습방법이 자기 주도적 학습 능력에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 부산광역시 D초등학교 6학년 1개 반 29명을 실험 집단으로, 같은 학년 1개 반 32명을 비교 집단으로 선정하고 이은희(2008)가 개발한 자기 주도적 학습 능력 판단 척도에서 내재적 동기, 학습기회의 개방성, 자율성 영역에 대한 사전검사 결과 유의도 .05 수준에서 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 없음을 확인하였다. 또한 실험의 결과를 검증하기 위하여 SPSSWIN 12.0 K 통계프로그램을 이용하여 집단내, 집단 간 사전-사후 t-검증을 실시하였고, 유의 수준은 p<.05로 하였다. 본 연구에서 밝혀진 결과를 근거로 한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단에 학습자들이 제작한 UCC를 교육적으로 활용한 결과 사전 ․ 사후 평균차 검증에서 내재적 동기 영역과 자율성 영역에서 유의도 .05 수준에서 유의한 차이를 보여 본 연구에서 구안된 UCC적용 수업이 자기 주도적 학습 능력의 내재적 동기와 자율성 영역의 긍정적인 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 검증되었다. 둘째, 학습자가 제작한 UCC를 교육적으로 활용한 실험 집단이 일반적 학습을 적용한 비교 집단보다내재적 동기 영역과 학습기회의 개방성 영역에서 유의도 .05 수준에서 유의한 차이를 보였으며 자율성영역에서는 유의도 .001 수준에서 유의미한 차이를 나타냈다. 따라서 학습자가 직접 제작한 UCC를 교육적으로 활용한 교수 ․ 학습이 일반적 학습에 비해 자기 주도적 학습 능력 향상에 효과적임이 검증 되었다. 셋째, UCC를 교육적으로 활용한 실험 집단의 학생들이 일반적 수업을 실시한 비교 집단의 학생들보다 전체적인 평균에서도 실험집단과 비교집단간의 유의한 차이(p<0.05)를 보였으나 실험 집단 내의 사전-사후 변화에서 학습기회의 개방성 영역은 유의도 .05 수준에서 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 사전 평균점수 보다 사후 평균점수가 높게 나타났으며, 종합적 평균점수에서도 사전검사보다 사후검사가 높게 나타나 모든 영역에서 긍정적인 변화를 보여 UCC의 교육적 활용이 자기 주도적학습 능력 향상에 효과가 있음이 검증되었다.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of educational using UCCs on the capability of students self-directed learning of the raising animals class in the Practical Arts subject. The objects of this study are those students in the 2 classes of 29 students and 32 students each who are in the 6th grade in D elementary school, located in Busan. I divided them into two groups: a group of experiment, and comparison. The educational using UCCs have been applied for the experimental group, whereas, the traditional study method does for the controlled group. And I also have done pre-test to check the identification between them, which showed that there was no statistical difference between the two groups. Of course there was a pre-test to verify the effect of those methods. To verify the result, t-test was conducted using the SPSSWIN 12.0 K software. The significance level was p<0.05 . The conclusions based on this study are as follow. First, the study ability score of the educational using UCCs group students have been improved prior to the application of this program, which means it has affected positively to the students self-directed learning. Second, the educational using UCCs group students have shown the more strong study ability than the controlled group which hasn t been applied for the educational using UCCs program. The statistical result has shown the meaningful differences, which means it has affected positively to the students self-directed learning. Third, in the subcategories of the self-directed learning ability, the experimental group has shown the more strong effectiveness both the motivation and self-regulation. But in the field of openness of the study wasn t no meaningful differences. So the educational using UCCs in the Practical Arts subject during the elementary school has been turned out to be more effective to improve the self-directed learning ability than the traditional one. In particular, it is very effective in the field of self-regulation and motivation.
