이 연구는 초등예비교사의 일반 교수효능감과 실과 교수효능감 사이에 차이가 있는지를 검증하고, 이를 토대로 실과 교수효능감 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행되었다. 이러한 목적을 위해 초등예비교사 400명을 표집하여 설문조사를 실시하고 자료를 분석하였다. 이 연구에서 얻어진 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등예비교사의 일반 교수효능감과 실과 교수효능감과 사이에 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 초등예비교사의 실과 교수효능감이 일반 교수효능감보다 낮았다. 둘째, 성별 변인에 따라 분석한 결과, 남학생은 유의미한 차이가 없었으나 여학생은 실과 교수효능감이 일반 교수효능감보다 낮았다. 셋째, 대학 심화 전공 계열 변인에 따라 분석한 결과, 자연계열 학생은 유의미한 차이가 없었으나 비 자연계열 학생은 실과 교수효능감이 일반 교수효능감보다 낮았다. 넷째, 고등학교 계열 변인에 따라 분석한 결과, 이과 출신 예비교사는 유의미한 차이가 없었으나 문과 출신 예비교사는 실과 교수효능감이 일반 교수효능감보다 낮았다. 다섯째, 학년 변인에 따라 분석한 결과, 1, 2학년은 실과 교수효능감이 일반 교수효능감보다 낮았고 3, 4학년은 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 여섯째, 실과 선택과목 수강 경험 변인에 따라 분석한 결과, 실과 선택과목 수강 경험이 있는 예비교사는 유의미한 차이가 없었으나, 실과 선택과목 수강 경험이 없는 예비교사는 실과 교수효능감이 일반 교수효능감보다 낮았다.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences between general teaching efficacy and practical arts teaching efficacy of pre-service elementary teachers. To achieve the purpose of the study, 400 preservice elementary teachers were selected by purposeful sampling. The results of the study were summarized as following. First, There was significant difference between general teaching efficacy and practical arts teaching efficacy of preservice elementary teachers. Practical arts teaching efficacy was lower than general teaching efficacy. Second, In case of male pre-service elementary teachers, there was no significant difference. but female s practical arts teaching efficacy was lower than general teaching efficacy. Third, In case of preservice elementary teachers who are majoring in science track at university, there was no significant difference. whereas, in case of preservice elementary teachers who nonscience track majors at university, practical arts teaching efficacy was lower than their general teaching efficacy. Fourth, In case of preservice elementary teachers who majored in liberal arts at high school, practical arts teaching efficacy was lower than their general teaching efficacy. Fifth, A freshman and sophomore s practical arts teaching efficacy was lower than their general teaching efficacy. Lastly, In case of preservice elementary teachers who wasn t taken practical arts subjects as an elective, practical arts teaching efficacy was lower than their general teaching efficacy.
