이 연구는 초등학교 5·6학년을 대상으로 하는 첨단 기술 교육을 위한 코스웨어를 개발하고 이에 대한 적용성을 탐색하고자 수행되었다. 변화하는 교육 여건과 환경 속에서 실과의 첨단 기술 단원에 대한 학생들의 학습 동기부여와 학업 성취도 향상을 위해 첨단 기술 교육을 위한 학습 주제의 선정과 이에 대한 멀티미디어 기반의 이러닝 학습 자료의 개발 방안에 대한 제안은 의의가 있을 것이다. 연구의 결과로 초등교육과정을 분석하여 16개의 첨단 기술 교육 주제를 추출하고 초등 교사의 설문에 의해 첨단 자동차, 위성과 통신 기술, 디지털 카메라, 컴퓨터 출력장치, 친환경 대체 에너지, 로봇,생체 기술, 우주선 등과 관련된 주제를 골라 이에 대한 기본 원리와 응용 분야에 대한 컨텐츠를 개발하였다. 개발된 코스웨어는 초등 현장 교사에게 적용성에 대하여 매체 형식과 학습 내용, 컨텐츠 구성에 대하여 설문 조사를 하였는데 활용도 항목에서 가장 높은 평가를 받고 이어서 매체 선택과 장면 구성,학습 내용의 전달성, 애니메이션 등의 항목이 상대적으로 높은 평가를 받았다. 제안된 코스웨어 현장에서 활용되면서 피드백에 의해 더욱 보완되고 활용도 높아질 것으로 기대되며, 보완된 코스웨어에 대한 정밀한 적용성 연구와 관련 주제로 좀 더 다양한 접근 방식에 대한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다.
The study was aimed at developing the couresware for future-oriented high technology education for elementary school s 5th and 6th grade students and to analyze the validity of the contents. In the changing educational environments, suggestions of the subjects related to high-end technology and development of teaching materials, which can elevate students motivation and achievement levels in practical arts education, are worthwhile tasks. We developed the contents for teaching the basic theory and applied technology about 8 subjects(smart-car, satellite and communication technology, digital camera, computer display & printer, green energy, robotics, bio-technology and space ships). In order to analyze the efficiency of the contents The result of the questionnaire survey which was completed by elementary school teachers shows that the efficiencies of the courseware are good in its suitability of media formation and layout, its animation quality and its capability. We expect to use the courseware at elementary schools.
